Man exposes self to children at Atascocita Library


The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect who exposed himself to a child at the Atascocita Library.

The incident occurred Oct. 16 at around 5 p.m.

A small child in the children’s section of the Harris County Public Library, located at 19520 Pine Hurst Trail Drive, in Atascocita, observed an adult male exposing his genitals. The child reported that the unidentifiable man was sitting with his legs crossed, penis exposed through the zipper, and using both hands to masturbate.

The incident was immediately reported to staff and law enforcement.

The suspect was described to be a white male between 40-50 years of age, about 180 pounds, and 6 feet tall. He was observed wearing an orange shirt and soiled denim jeans, according to HCSO.The suspect was seen fleeing the location in a maroon 4-door sedan, unknown make, model, or license plate. The vehicle was reported to have a bumper sticker on the back trunk area that reads “DECEDENTS” in large block letters.
