HPD Burglary Division Officer K. Johns reported:

On May 31, two apparently transgendered suspects entered the store at the above address. Surveillance video then shows them selecting multiple clothing items off a clothes rack and placing them in a gray bag.  They then exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

Further investigation led to the identification of both suspects, Daniels aka “Leslie Houston” and Singleton aka “Janae Mack.” On Monday (Oct. 23), the two were charged with theft.  Currently, they are not in custody.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the two suspects is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
