Houston Police Link Man To Three Shootings

Investigators with the Houston Police Department are looking for a man who they say shot and killed his estranged wife Monday morning in Kingwood.

Russell Cormier, 53, is charged in the murder a 61-year-old in the 3700 block of Creek Falls Drive.

Witnesses told investigators that Cormier and McWhite were arguing and physically fighting in the driveway of her home when Cormier shot her to death and drove away in a black Toyota pickup.

Investigators said the Cormier drove to the 6000 block of Shotwell, where he collected some of his belongings from a trailer, and set the trailer on fire.

Investigators said Cormier drove to Superior Truck Care in the 12200 block of Kindred Street, where he waited for 61-year-old Thornton Bivins to show up for work, and shot him to death as he pulled into the parking lot.

Cormier fled the area after the shooting, police said.
