| Details: | On Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at approximately 20:30 hours, a four vehicle major crash occurred at the intersection of North Sam Houston Parkway and Antoine Drive. The investigation into the crash revealed the 17 year old driver of a Dodge pick up truck disregarded a red light and struck a Chevrolet Tahoe which was occupied by a family of four. The two right side passengers in the Chevrolet Tahoe died from injuries sustained in the crash. Two other vehicles were struck as the Chevrolet Tahoe rotated after impact with the Dodge. The 17 year old driver (Suspect) was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. A total of six occupants from three of the vehicles where transported to the hospital. This crash remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Section. |
