WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 4500 block of Stassen, 77051
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $49 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under Investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire coming from the sides of a 1-story home. Powerlines were also arcing near the home. Crews made an interior attack and conducted a primary search. The home was ventilated, and crews worked to protect the nearby structures. Firefighters extinguished the fire within 15 minutes and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 46, 23, 26, 24, 33, 35, 55 and Rehab 17 responded to this incident.
