Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7200 Avenue N, Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7200 Avenue N about 11 a.m. on Tuesday (November 30).
The identity of the male victim, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:
Officers responded to a report of a deceased male lying in a grassy area near the above address and found the victim had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.
Further investigation determined the shooting may have occurred about 9:30 p.m. the previous day (Nov. 29).
