Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection with the shooting of a juvenile female at 927 Blanchard Hill Lane about 5:05 a.m. today (Dec. 5).
The victim, 11 years of age, was transported to an area hospital in serious, but stable condition.
The surveillance video is posted on the HPD YouTube channel at https://bit.ly/3ErDQyR At the :10 mark of the video, a suspect is seen running to the SUV before it flees the scene.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective C. Brannen reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and were advised a child was struck several times by gunfire. Paramedics transported the girl to a hospital.
Other occupants of the residence advised officers the suspects had fired at the residence from the street. At least two suspects were seen on video fleeing the scene in a dark SUV. Multiple shell casings were found in the street in front of the residence.
