Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6100 Elm Street about 5:30 a.m. today (Dec. 17).
The identity of the victim, believed to be 18 to 22 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and located the victim outside an apartment. He had suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no known suspect description or motive in the shooting.
