ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from a small second story apartment. They made an attack on the fire and ventilated the unit. A pet was found deceased in the inside. Crews extinguished the fire which had began behind the stove and ran up the wall. Firefighters from Stations 40 and 26 responded to this incident.
