DAMAGE: $70 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the home. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished with minimal extension into the attic. The fire appeared to have started near an outlet where batteries were being charged. Firefighters from Stations 32, 23, 34, 45, 56, 44, 30 and 105 responded to this incident.
