UPDATE: Surveillance Video in Fatal Shooting at 7126 Woodridge Drive

Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 7126 Woodridge Drive about 9:15 p.m. on Saturday (June 25).  
The suspect is described only as a tall, slender black male.  Surveillance video of the suspect is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 58, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective L. Kauffman reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and found Mr. Maldonado lying in the front yard.  He had sustained several gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Maldonado deceased.
According to witnesses, Maldonado was walking along the sidewalk when a male suspect driving a vehicle stopped next to the victim.  A tall, slender male exited the vehicle and shot at Maldonado several times.  As Maldonado fled, the suspect chased and caught up to him.  The suspect then shot Maldonado several times,  got back in the vehicle and fled eastbound on Woodridge Drive.
The vehicle is described as a gold, four-door Honda.
