A juvenile male critically injured in a crash at 10200 Knoboak Drive about 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 1) has died.
The victim, 10, was pronounced deceased at Memorial Hermann Hospital on Thursday (Sept. 3).
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Reinoso and Officer A. Mares reported:
The child was riding a bicycle northbound on Maux Drive when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and was struck by a black Jeep Wrangler traveling westbound on Knoboak Drive. Paramedics transported the young victim to the hospital in critical condition. The female driver, 43, did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
