A male juvenile was shot and is in serious but stable condition after an incident on Ella Boulevard, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
On Friday, April 4, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 1 Patrol responded to the 15000 block of Ella Boulevard following a 911 call about a male lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.
A witness had found the victim in distress and provided aid before deputies arrived. Emergency medical services were on the scene, performed life-saving measures, and transported the juvenile to a local hospital.
Detectives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Offenders Unit have taken over the investigation, which remains active with limited leads at this time.
