700 block of Millville, 77091
INJURIES:
No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:
Not available.
DAMAGE:
$55 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:
Under Investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the roof of a 1-story home and made an offensive attack. A primary and secondary search were completed for a possible trapped person with no one found. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. CenterPoint secured the power and the gas company was notified to secure the burnt gas meter. Firefighters from Stations 67, 15, 4, 31, 13, 58 and Heavy Rescue 11 responded to this incident.
