DAMAGE: $15 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under Investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke coming from the fourth floor of a hotel. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. Crews checked for extension and conducted a primary search on the fifth floor with none found. A fire in a fourth-floor unit was extinguished within 15 minutes and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. The power was cut to the fourth and fifth floors and the hotel management was advised to consult with an electrician prior to having the power cut back on. Firefighters from Stations 74, 84, 15, 4, 31. 34, 64, 58, 67 and 30 responded to this incident.
