INJURIES: One deceased dog found.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the building. A primary search was completed, and a deceased dog was found in an adjacent unit to the unit of origin. Crews extinguished the fire and contained it to one unit with smoke damage to at least seven other units. The power company was notified, and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 23, 20, 26, 29, 36, 61 and 24 responded to this incident.
