Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2000 Emancipation Avenue, Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 2000 Emancipation Avenue about 10:50 p.m. on May 12 has died.The identity of the male, 53, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Prejean and South Central Patrol Division officers reported:It is believed the male, a pedestrian, stepped in front of a gray Toyota Scion XB traveling northbound at the above address. Paramedics transported the male to Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him deceased on Sunday (May 22).The male driver, 69, was questioned, determined not to be impaired and released.
