Apartment Fire in The MacGregor Area

WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: March 3, 2025, at 7:43 a.m.
WHERE: 6215 Tierwester Dr. 77021.
INJURIES: Three civilians were evaluated on scene, no transports.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $125,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find an apartment unit on fire. They made a quick attack and prevented it from spreading. The fire was controlled just before 8:30 a.m. and the building was ventilated. A primary search was completed and HFD EMS evaluated three civilians on scene.
Four apartment units were impacted. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 60 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 15, 28, 40, 23, 26, 46, 16, 17, 18, 25, 7, 37, 24, Heavy Rescue 11 and Rescue 1.
