Club / Strip Center Fire in The Alief Area

WHAT: Club / strip center fire.

WHEN: Today, April 16, 2025, at 7:52 a.m.

WHERE: 6260 Wilcrest Dr. 77072.

INJURIES: No reported injuries.

PROPERTY SAVED: $900,000 in estimated property saved.

DAMAGE: $200,000 in estimated damage.

CAUSE: Under investigation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a karaoke club in a strip center. They forced entry and made an offensive attack. Crews also forced entry and searched the nearby business for extension. No extension was found with the fire contained to the club. The fire was quickly controlled and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 49 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 83, 2, 68, 83, 10, 57, 60, 69, 73, 76, 10 and Rescue 10.
