HOUSTON, TX — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) will host the annual Harris County Peace Officers’ Memorial Service on Thursday, May 1, at the Dave Ward Building, Crime Stoppers of Houston.
This event honors the courage and sacrifice of peace officers who lost their lives in the line of duty and serves as a moment of reflection and gratitude for their service. The ceremony will include a formal presentation of honors, a wreath-laying, and tributes from colleagues and loved ones.
This year, the Sheriff’s Office and Constables’ Offices will pay special tribute to five officers lost in 2024:
