House Fire in The South Acres / Crestmont Park Area

WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: May 8, 2025, at 5:10 a.m.
WHERE: 4500 block of Hartsville Rd. 77047.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 1-story house on fire and made an offensive attack. The home was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. The utilities were secured, and the fire was controlled. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 32 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 26, 46, 24, 35 and 55.
