Detached Residential Garage Fire in The Central Northwest Area

WHAT: Detached residential garage fire.
WHEN: May 17, 2025, at 8:06 p.m.
WHERE: 5300 block of Lost Forest Dr. 77092.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a detached garage of a townhome and made an offensive attack. They forced entry and conducted a primary search with no one found. Crews extinguished the fire that appeared to have originated from an outlet in the garage. The walls were opened to ensure all hotspots were out. 38 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 50, 4, 31, 5, 13 and 30.
