House Fire in The Denver Harbor / Port Houston Area

WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: May 17, 2025, at 3:49 a.m.
WHERE: 7200 block of Eagle Pass St. 77020.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fire in the attic of a house and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed and the utilities were secured. Crews extinguished the hotspots on the roof ridge and controlled the fire. An electrical short had occurred with multiple appliances plugged into outlets along a wall, causing the fire to spread up to the attic. 42 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 27, 23, 19, 45, 20, 41, 30 and Rescue 42.
