Tragic Condominium Fire in The Brays Oaks Area

WHAT: Condominium fire with fatality.
WHEN: May 17, 2025, at 10:38 p.m.
WHERE: 11900 block of Bob White Dr. 77035.
INJURIES: A deceased victim was found by firefighters.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within minutes to find fire coming from both floors of a two-story condominium. They made an offensive attack while a searching the residence. No one was found during the primary search but residents told crews on scene that there was a person unaccounted for who lived in the burning home. A secondary search was conducted and a deceased victim was found under a pile of debris. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 50 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 2, 59, 68, 10, 48, 51, 73, 80, 82, 24, and Rescue 10.
