Houston Man Charged with Stalking, “Revenge Porn” After Campaign of Harassment

A local man faces multiple felony charges after authorities say he waged a weeks-long campaign of stalking and digital harassment against a former girlfriend, which included the unauthorized distribution of intimate videos.

Emeka Chukwuma Okafor, 30, was charged Wednesday with stalking and the unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material following an investigation by the Houston Police Department’s Family Violence Division. The charges follow a pattern of escalating behavior that began shortly after the complainant, identified in court records as S.C., ended a six-month relationship with Okafor on Nov. 26, 2025.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the harassment turned physical on Dec. 9, 2025, when the victim reported Okafor outside her home throwing rocks at her window. Officers who responded to the scene reportedly found a large kitchen knife on the ground where Okafor had been standing. Less than a week later, the victim began receiving messages from unknown numbers and email addresses that mocked her and threatened that intimate content featuring her would soon have “hella fans”.

The situation escalated further on Dec. 18, 2025, when Okafor allegedly posted a fraudulent advertisement on the app Offer Up for a free 3D printer at the victim’s address, resulting in a stranger arriving at her home. That same evening, surveillance footage captured Okafor walking into the victim’s backyard, where he allegedly hid from police as they towed his vehicle from the street.

The investigation peaked on Dec. 22, 2025, when a video of the victim performing a sexual act was posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, via a fake profile created for the victim’s baking company. While the videos were filmed consensually, the victim told investigators she never gave Okafor permission to share them.

In a statement to investigators on Dec. 26, 2025, Okafor reportedly admitted to being the individual behind the messages and the online postings. He told police he used “Text Now” and Google numbers to hide his identity and claimed he acted out of “emotion” to provoke a reaction from the victim. The victim stated she is now afraid for her life and safety. Okafor is currently awaiting his first court setting in Harris County District Court No. 495
