Apartment Fire in The Minnetex Area

WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: February 4, 2025, at 4:41 p.m.
WHERE: 5900 Selinsky Rd. 77048.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $285,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $30,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Incendiary.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from the side of a 1-story apartment building and made an offensive attack. They forced entry and searched several apartments. The roof was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished. The Houston Police Department and HFD Arson investigators were requested with a suspect on scene. 44 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 26, 46, 35, 36, 55, 61, 24 and 40.
