Vacant House Fire in The Greater Third Ward Area

WHAT: Vacant house fire.
WHEN: May 7, 2025, at 9:47 p.m.
WHERE: 3400 block of Beulah, 77004.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a vacant 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and protected the nearby homes. A primary search was completed, and no victims were found. There were no working utilities. The house was ventilated, and the fire was controlled. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. The American Red Cross was notified to assist a neighbor. 47 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 7, 25, 8, 46, 7, 17, 18, 42 and 24.
