Warehouse / Office Building Fire in The Second Ward Area

WHAT: Vacant warehouse / office building fire.
WHEN: May 19, 2025, at 4:44 a.m.
WHERE: 6418 Esperson, 77011.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 2-story warehouse / office building heavily involved on fire. They made a defensive attack and knocked down the majority of the fire. Crews ensured all hotspots were fully extinguished and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. The structure was vacant and had no working utilities. 44 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 18, 19, 20, 17, 42, 30 and Rescue 42.
