Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Female’s Death at 8950 Country Creek Drive

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the death of a female found at 8950 Country Creek Drive about 8:15 a.m. on May 25.
The suspect, Daniel Arnulfo Ceron, 22, is charged with murder in the 262nd Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Ceron is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Amarra Persia Conway, 33.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a body in a stormwater catch basin adjacent to a bayou at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased.
Further investigation identified Ceron as a suspect in this case. On Wednesday, June 10, Ceron was arrested by the HPD Westside Division Gang Unit with the assistance of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. He subsequently confessed to his role in Ms. Conway’s death.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has classified the manner of death as a homicide. The HPD homicide investigation remains ongoing.
