Investigation into Man’s Death at 7400 Lavender Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found in the 7400 block of Lavender Street about 9:25 a.m. on June 11.
The identity and cause of death of the man, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a body found on a large vacant lot near the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
No apparent injuries or signs of trauma were identified on the body which was in a beginning state of decomposition. The investigation is pending the man’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
