that he has good reason to believe and does believe that in Harris County, Texas, CLAUDE EDWARD SLAUGHTER, hereafter styled the
Defendant, heretofore on or about January 20, 2023, did then and there unlawfully, intentionally and knowingly cause the death of Colvin
Celestine, hereinafter called the Complainant, by shooting the Complainant with a deadly weapon, namely, a firearm.
It is further presented that in Harris County, Texas, Claude Edward Slaughter, hereinafter styled the Defendant, heretofore on or about
January 20, 2023, did then and there unlawfully intend to cause serious bodily injury to Colvin Celestine, hereinafter called the
Complainant, and did cause the death of the Complainant by intentionally and knowingly committing an act clearly dangerous to human
life, namely shooting the Complainant with a deadly weapon, namely, a firearm.
Before the commission of the offense alleged above, on January 20, 2015, in Cause No. 1424610, in the 174th District Court of Harris
County, Texas, the Defendant was convicted of the felony offense of Possession of Marihuana.
