Quadplex Fire in The MacGregor Area

WHAT: Quadplex fire.
WHEN: January 21, 2025, at 5:22 a.m.
WHERE: 3400 block of Rosedale St. 77004.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $275,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $35,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the first floor of a quadplex. They forced entry and made an attack on the fire. Crews assisted several occupants down through the smoke from the upper apartments. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 25, 23, 8, 46, 7, 18 and 46.
