House Fire in The Westbranch Area

WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: January 27, 2025, at 6:21 p.m.
WHERE: 10600 Eagle Glen Dr. 77041.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $260,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They ventilated the roof and conducted a primary search with no one found. The residents were safely outside the home. Crews extinguished the fire that originated above a bathroom exhaust fan. Multiple breakers had tripped, and firefighters turned the power off to the house. 45 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 4, 5, 50, 77, 49, 57 and Rescue 1.
