Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 13400 Almeda Road about 8:35 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 6).
The identity of the deceased male, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer T. Pham reported:
The male was operating a gray Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle southbound on Almeda Road and struck a red Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck exiting a business at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The male driver, 73, of the pickup truck was not injured. He remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired. He was questioned and released. The investigation is continuing.
