House Fire in the East Little York / Homestead Area

WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: May 11, 2024, at 10:57 p.m.
WHERE: 6400 block of Micollet St. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $75,900 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $75,800 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a boarded-up house. They made entry and controlled the fire. A primary search was completed, and the fire was fully extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 15, 34, 32, 43 and 56.
