UPDATE: Suspect Charged, Wanted in January Fatal Shooting at 4712 Lockwood Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a male at 4712 Lockwood Drive about 9:50 p.m. on January 31.
The suspect, Marcus Jacurry Keith Alexander, 31, is charged with murder in the 263rd State District Court.  A previous booking photo of Alexander, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Bruce Ford, 43.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Jorsch and D. Lunceford reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot at the above address and found Houston Fire Department paramedics providing medical assistance to a male with gunshot wounds.  The male, later identified as Mr. Ford, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation and evidence from the scene identified Alexander as a suspect in this case. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and Alexander was subsequently charged.  Alexander remains at-large.
