Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3223 McGowen Street 

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3223 McGowen Street about 2:55 a.m. on Sunday (February 23).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Sharp and E. May reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a deceased person call in a bike/walking path at the above address and found an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
