Investigation into Fatal Crash at 945 Gessner Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 945 Gessner Road about 12:40 a.m. on Saturday (March 15).
The deceased male is identified as Salman Khan, 47.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y Ramirez and Officer T. Smith reported:
Mr. Khan was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe southbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway, went over a curb and struck a tree head-on.
Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Khan to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
