Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2000 East TC Jester Blvd.
Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 2000 East TC Jester Blvd. about 2:30 a.m. today (April 7).
The identity of the deceased male, 35, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer D. Thompson reported:
The male was driving a blue Jeep Wrangler the wrong way, eastbound in the westbound lanes, at the above address at the intersection of Ella Boulevard. The Jeep then left the roadway and entered a parking lot where a large Conex shipping container was placed. The Jeep drove up onto the side of the Conex box, pushed the container into a fence and rolled over, landing on the driver’s side. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
