Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2520 Winrock Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man discovered at 2520 Winrock Boulevard about 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday (April 8).
The identity of the victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Vaughn and R. Waterwall reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased male discovered by a maintenance worker at the apartment complex at the above address.  Officers found an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds inside an apartment. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
