Investigation into Fatal Crash at 100 Farrell Street

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 100 block of Farrell Street about 12:50 p.m. last Friday (May 2).
The victim is identified as James Estes, 68.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Wu and Officer D. Jones reported:
A black Suzuki motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Farrell Street and a white Dodge Dakota pickup was westbound on the same street. The Dodge struck the motorcycle as the pickup tried to make a left turn. The male motorcyclist was ejected.
Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Memorial Hermann -Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The female driver, 55, of the Dodge remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
