Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 400 Tennessee Street 

The fatal shooting of a man at 400 Tennessee Street about 7:10 p.m. on Sunday (May 25) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the deceased man, 42, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The male shooter, 35, was not injured in the incident.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and D. Davis reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound in the street. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The male shooter later turned himself in and he provided a statement to detectives. After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, it was determined the case would be referred to a grand jury for review
