Update: Suspects Arrested, Charged in April Fatal Shooting at 2919 Rosewood Street

Houston police have arrested two suspects charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 2919 Rosewood Street about 2:30 p.m. on April 9.
One suspect, Abraham Jackson, 31, is charged with murder in the 208th State District Court. The second suspect, Randy DeWayne Masters, 22, is charged with tampering with evidence in the 262nd State District Court. Booking photos of Jackson and Masters are attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Gregory Warren, 18.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Providence and M. Althaus reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found an unresponsive male sitting in the driver’s seat of a gray sedan. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area and then observed two black male suspects, approximately 20 to 25 years old, flee on foot in an unknown direction.
Further investigation identified Jackson and Masters as suspect in this case. On April 25th Masters was arrested and charged for his role in the fatal shooting. On Friday (June 6), Jackson was arrested and charged for the murder of Mr. Warren. Both suspects were arrested by the HPD South Central Crime Suppression Team.
