UPDATE: Persons of Interest Sought in 2023 Fatal Shooting at 832 West Greens Road  

Houston police are asking for the public’s help identifying two persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man found at 832 West Greens Road about 8:45 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2023.
The individuals are described only as black males.  Photos of the persons of interest, who are not suspects at this time, are attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Jahlill Zachary, 22.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective D. Higgs reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and located a male victim with a gunshot wound.  The man had knocked on residents’ doors requesting assistance.  Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where Mr. Zachary was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators believe the shooting did not occur at 832 West Greens Road and that Zachary was taken to that location by unknown individuals.
At this time, detectives do not believe the two persons of interests pictured below are suspects in this incident, but would like to speak to them. Both individuals were seen with the victim a few hours before he was shot.
