Person of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 535 Seminar Drive
Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 535 Seminar Drive about 10:15 p.m. on Monday (July 7).
The person of interest is identified as Daniel Michael Lewis Jr., 22. A photo of Lewis Jr. is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 37, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and learned a male had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where doctors later pronounced him deceased.
Preliminary investigation identified Lewis Jr. as a person of interest who may have information about the shooting incident.
