2nd UPDATE: Additional Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 1400 Redford Street

Charges have been filed against a second suspect wanted for the fatal shooting of a man at 1400 Redford Street about 2:35 a.m. on May 15.
The suspect, Javeon Washington, 18, is charged with capital murder in the 209th State District Court. A photo of Wood, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
A second suspect, Tyrell Robinson, 21, is charged with murder in the 174th State District Court. A booking photo of Robinson is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Jermon Williams, 20.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants K. Meek, R. Watson and M. Burrow, and Detective M. Perez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot area. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Neighbors reported hearing gunshots before finding the male. Further investigation identified Robinson as a suspect in this incident. He was subsequently arrested and charged.
Additional investigation led to the identification of Washington as a suspect in this case and today (July 9) he was charged with capital murder. He remains at-large.
