Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3800 Dunvale Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 3800 Dunvale Road about 8:50 p.m. on Sunday (July 13).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer V. Taylor reported:
The driver of a white Dodge Challenger was traveling southbound on Dunvale Road at the above address when a bicyclist, traveling northbound in the southbound lanes, collided with the Challenger. The bicyclist was ejected and Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The male driver, 28, of the Challenger remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is on-going.
