Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 15841 Ridgeroe Lane

The fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of another at 15841 Ridgeroe Lane about 8:40 p.m. on Sunday (July 20) will be referred to a Fort Bend County Grand Jury.
The identity of the deceased male, 34, is pending notification to family members by the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner’s Office.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Robles and D. Davis reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence at the above address and found one male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the front yard. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
A second male, 27, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg.
After speaking with witnesses and the male gunshot victim, information was relayed to the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office it was determined the case would be referred to a grand jury for review
