Surveillance Photos Released in Fatal Shooting at 11675 West Bellfort Avenue
Houston police have released surveillance photos of persons of interest and their vehicles wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 11675 West Bellfort Avenue about 7:30 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 15).
The persons of interest are described only as a male and female on a motorcycle and a person with a dark-colored Dodge Ram pick-up. Surveillance photos of the vehicles and persons of interest are attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased male, 38, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Ponder and J. Nielsen reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim lying on the ground. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
Multiple witnesses stated they heard gunshots in the area and then saw the victim on the ground. They then reported seeing a male and female leaving the apartment complex on a motorcycle. A dark colored Dodge Ram pick-up truck was also seen leaving the location. The vehicle was later observed in the roadway near the 11700 block of Beechnut with multiple bullet holes.
