Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5602 Westheimer Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5602 Westheimer Road about 2:05 a.m. on Saturday (Sept. 27).
The deceased male is identified at Jair Gomez, 19.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and R. Guzman reported:
A white Suzuki motorcycle was traveling eastbound at the above address at a high rate of speed, possibly racing another vehicle. The motorcycle crashed into a curb at Westheimer Road and Alabama Street. The motorcyclist was ejected. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
There were no other vehicles or persons involved in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
